Teamwork. Working Together.
There is a cartoon show on Nickelodeon that my son used to watch all the time called The Wonder Pets. The theme song has two lines that always stuck in my head. What's going to work? TEAMWORK. Teamwork is the ability for two parties or things to work hand in hand. The road to victory is lonely without teamwork.
Sometimes teamwork is the best strategy for success. However sometimes, teamwork will slow you down. Knowing when working together to accomplish a goal is faster than working by yourself is just as important as accomplishing the goal. At this marketing company, I am constantly working with my clients to help their business achieve total online domination. I would not be as effective at marketing their business as I am, without their help. The fact is that they should know their industry inside and out, and I know the Internet marketing industry inside and out, and therefore: working together as a team is the best way to succeed online.
Working together sometimes can impede the ability to accomplish a goal. Having eight people in a kitchen to make a sandwich is just going to slow down the process of accomplishing the task at hand. In other cases, it takes more time to make sure everyone else is doing what they are supposed to be doing, than it does to just do the task yourself. But you have to know the difference, and know when teamwork is more effective.
If you hand over your advertising to a company and trust them to do the work, and you never hear from them except when they send you a bill, that is not teamwork. The marketing agency that you hire, should be in constant contact with you. They should be sending you questions and answers on a regular basis. In order to be successful online, you must use teamwork to your advantage. Web Your Name® prefers to "unleash the avalanche of destruction" through compromise and teamwork than attempting it solo.

Many marketing agencies have no motivation to keep working on your websites, content, and marketing materials. Almost all Internet marketing companies make more money by doing less work. Many will try to keep you on the Pay-Per-Click needle, because that's the only way they can get you and keep you at the top of search engines.
Why is Web Your Name® so motivated to help their clients succeed online? As a marketing underdog, success is all that much sweeter when it is achieved. Nothing compares to the literally thousands of hours that I have put into this business, for snail like progress. I started at the bottom of Mount Everest with no tools, gear, or clothes. I have made it halfway up the mountain, but the uphill battle is far from over. It is the determination and desire that has gotten me this far, and it will get me and my clients and supporters the rest of the way. Rest assured, Busta Rhymes may have "made it", but we are "almost there".
PageRank is another answer. Web Your Name® is only as successful as the clients that it helps. Many companies are motivated purely by money. We are motivated by our clients believing in our ability to surpass the competition. We are motivated by our competitors thinking that they have the edge and lead, just to blow by them at the last second and only look back to smile. We are motivated by the competitors counting us as down and out, only to beat them with well planned marketing tactics and strategy. When our clients understand that success is not achieved overnight, but over a lengthy period of time, their patience pays off ten fold in the end.

Mistakes must be made.
Part of working together as a team, means knowing when to compromise. Being able to admit that there are multiple effective ways to accomplish the same task, will help you accomplish the task faster. Many times, more time is spent debating the best path to take, than actually traveling either path. Many roads lead to the same destination, sometimes the longer road takes more time, but has the better view at the end. Part of being a successful leader and entrepreneur is the ability to recognize when it is time to compromise.
Many times a mistake is just an opportunity to reach success quicker. I can't even begin to tell you how many major mistakes I have made in my life. Mistakes build character. What stands me apart from others is my ability to correct my mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes have even almost cost me my life on several occasions, but I am still here, and I didn't make those mistakes again. The last and potentially most important quality is being able to learn from other people's mistakes, and not reinventing the wheel. When you can see and experience other people's mistakes, you get the advantage of learning second hand, and usually not suffering the same consequences of those mistakes. When you turn a blind eye and believe that the same outcome cannot happen to you, you are just being ignorant.
